Reserved words list: ac, email, info, nom, sport, arpa, e-mail, internet, ns, tm, biz, firm, iskola, nui, web, co, ftp, mail, org, www, com, gov, mx, pp, dns, ind, net, priv. Only letters or numeric characters may be at the beginning and at the end of the domain name. Please note that only the following letters are allowed for IDN domains: á,é,í,ó,ö,õ,ú,ü,û.

Are there requirements, documents, or information needed for Hungary .hu? - Yes. VAT-ID number of company of European Union country and a contact person in Hungary, able to communicate in Hungarian. According to the new registration rules for the .hu domains in Hungary from 1st of June, 2011, the Criteria with regard to the Domain Applicant are the following : Delegation of domains directly under the .hu public domain may be applied for by: a) any citizen of the European Union or b) any natural person holding a permit for domiciliation in Hungary or c) i) any entity established by virtue of law, ii) entered in the records of or registered with an authority or court, or iii) any entity filing its respective application with the competent authority or court and commencing its operations pursuant and according to the law prior to such entry or registration, in the territory of the European Union d) furthermore, the beneficiary of a trademark registered with the Hungarian Patent Office or granted protection rights in Hungary.
