Generic names (e.g., www, internet) and famous people will not be registered under any domain unless for authorized entities those officially represent the corresponding names.

Are individual Oman .om registrations allowed? - No.

Are there requirements, documents, or information needed for Oman .om? - Yes. Copy of Certificate of Incorporation of company in Oman, copy of trademark certificate or application if registered/filed in Oman, and a letter on company letterhead requesting the domain name. Administrative contact must be physically located in Oman and represent the company. Authorization of Agent form (provided to you) certified by the Omani Chambers of Industry and Commerce is also required for us to manage the domain on your behalf.
